HFAA Scholarship Application & Guidelines

Purpose:
The HFAA Scholarship Scholarships are given to graduating seniors at Harding Fine Arts Academy who are pursuing postsecondary education. Selected students must embody what it means to be a Firehawk – arts, academics, and service. Scholarships awarded are based on academic merit, artistic excellence, community service, and campus involvement. Applications will be evaluated anonymously by members of the Harding Alumni Association using an objective scoring mechanism.

Deadline: Friday, February 16, 2024, by 3:00 pm

Criteria:

In order to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

• Graduating senior at Harding Fine Arts Academy
• No or minimal disciplinary issues
• Minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Attending a post-secondary education such as 2-year or 4-year university/college or trade school

Guidelines:

1. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in full during the summer.
2. Students must apply online by the posted deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Students must provide verification of enrollment to the Harding Alumni Association in order for the scholarships to be disbursed.

There will be no exceptions to these guidelines.

Amount:
The Harding Alumni association will provide four (4) $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors at Harding Fine Arts Academy.

Renewal Process:
This scholarship is not renewable. Only graduating seniors at Harding Fine Arts Academy intending to attend postsecondary education are eligible to apply. Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.
