Harding Fine Arts Academy (Academy), an arts-integrated charter high school, was recently awarded a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council through the Classroom Supply Grant program.

The Classroom Supply Grant program provides funding for essential single-use art supplies. The Academy was awarded $500 to purchase supplies for the HFAA Drama Department and HFAA Instrumental Music Department.

“By providing single-use supplies for the drama and music programs, students will also be able to take pride in their craft,” said Superintendent Taylor Stanton. “This sense of pride and accomplishment will naturally expand into multiple areas of the students’ lives. The grant funding provided by the Oklahoma Arts Council is vital to student success in the classroom and beyond.”

These grant funds will be used to support the HFAA Drama Department by purchasing single use costumes, props and make up, and for the HFAA Instrumental Music Department by purchasing instrument maintenance supplies like cork grease, reeds and valve oil.
